We are back from vacation. This week the students are working on digital photographic collages in Adobe PhotoShop. Don’t forget that we have Saturday classes this week to make up for our snow days.

This week the students will finish their slide shows in Microsoft Photo Story 3. They have been taking more digital pictures and are learning how to make collages from multiple images in Adobe Photoshop. They are also learning how to edit and manipulate photographs in Photoshop.

This week students will be learning some of the basic rules of photo composition, in particular the rule of thirds. Then the class will create individual photographic slide shows in Microsoft Photo Story 3. Once the slide shows have been completed, students will create photographic collages in Adobe Photoshop.

Students started the week by taking a series of quizzes on www.funbrain.com. These are designed to help students become familiar with computer technology terms and are self correcting. Some students are finishing their personal timelines. Others are now taking digital photos that will be manipulated in Adobe Photoshop and then included [...]
This week the students have worked primarily with spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel. By the end of the week they should have finished a household budget, a business order form, grade averages and a basic database of employee information.
