Monday and Tuesday, the students will be finishing the ThinkQuest Research Projects. On Wednesday we will start a unit on Microsoft Excel that will include graphing, setting up a budget, creating an order form, averaging test grades, and creating a data base.
There will be a thinkquest.com workshop on Monday Ocotober 20 at 2:30 PM is the KRMS Computer Lab.
Students will be working on thinkquest.com research projects everyday this week. The instructions for this project have been posted on the students thinkquest sites.
This week students will continue working with differentiating between bogus and non-bogus websites. We will examine www.martinlutherking.org, a white supremecy website on Martin luther King. There will be NECAP testing everyday this week. On Tuesday, the class will choose between bogus and non-bogus websites from a list of actual sites. There will give reasons for their decisions. On Wednesday, the class will begin using on-line searching techniques and start an Internet scavenger hunt.
