This week students will be working on research project. The final presentation will be on thinkquest.org. Students will do research using the two column note taking technique. Students will also create a complete works cited page.
This week the studetns will work on Excel spreadsheets. These will include creating a simple chart, a household budget, a business order form, a grade average sheet, and a database.
Monday students will finish work on slide show. On Tuesday we will begin working on the spreadsheet unit beginning with simple graphing and continuing with creating a household budget, an order form, computing grade averages and setting up a simple database.
Finish Internt scavenger hunt. create a slide show in Microsoft PhotoStory 3 using images from www.flickr.com. students also used digital cameras to take their own pictures.
Monday was a snow day. Tuesday is a day for completeing word processing projects. On Wednesday, students will learn to differentiate between bogus and non bogus sites. On Thursday we will start the first Internet scavenger hunt and move on to creating slide shows in Microsoft PhotoStory 3.
