This week the students are working on a 2007 Power Point presentation. They may use the research from their thinkquest research projects or they may choose to research a new topic. The instructions for this project are on Mr. Davidson’s thinkquest site and are also on the student’s websites.

This week students completed on their Photo Story 3 slide shows using the Ken Burns affect. Students also will be creating Halloween cards and posters. They will also start working on the country brochure project. Details of this project have been sent to each students Think Quest website.
Students are using a collaborative rubric to evaluate each others’ research projects. They will also critique their own projects before I give them a final evaluation. Students are finishing their thinkquest research projects and are now, using a rubric, critiquing each others projects online. In particular students will be paying attention to the quality of the research, the correct formatting of works cited, creativity, and presentation.

Students are working on Internet Scavenger Hunts. Thursday and Friday, September 24-25th-Vista Fall Overnight Trip.
This week students will continue to work on word Processing projects and letter writing. They have now received their thinkquest user names and passwords and will be able to create their own websites and maintain links to school projects on their websites.
